‘Walking with the Stars’ by Holly Sanders
This artwork connects Earth Country to Sky Country, from the natural ochres of the land to the blues and purples of the sky. First Nations people have been looking up at the night sky to teach and learn lessons for thousands of years. The stars and the moon don’t just light the night sky; they are sources of meaning, stories of Dreaming and Creation, culture and history.
The night sky is a source of knowledge about aspects of life and Lore. The land is seen as a reflection of the sky and the sky a reflection of the land. The moon and Seven Sisters are represented in this work, their Songline is written forever in the stars and on Country. When we look to the night sky, we look upon the same stars as our ancestors did and find strength in the knowledge that they are looking down on us, always guiding.
When we walk on Country, we are never alone because our ancestors are guiding from above.
Product Care
Keep your planner away from direct sunlight. Place in shaded areas, away from direct sunlight, windows, and skylights. Use a slightly dampened cloth to wipe the cover if it gets marked. Please be mindful of the surrounding environment and avoid placing it on rough or dirty surfaces.

Does your Everyday Planner have weekends?
Yes, our Everyday Planner includes weekends. It features a horizontal week-to-page layout with equal space for each day of the week, including Saturday and Sunday. This design ensures that you have consistent space for planning and organising your weekends just as you would for weekdays.
Can the Everyday Planner be used by teachers for their planning needs?
While the Everyday Planner is versatile, it is not specifically designed for teachers. Our Signature and Classic teacher planner range is tailored with educators in mind, incorporating feedback from thousands of teachers, including my own experience as a teacher.
The Everyday Planner is B5 in size and offers equal space for weekends, which may not be sufficient for detailed lesson planning. It also does not include specialised sections such as assessment pages and term overviews that teachers often require. For more targeted features suitable for classroom planning, our Signature and Classic teacher planners would be a better choice.
