ARTWORK

A Celebration of Jagun-Country artwork by Holly Sanders.

Holly Sanders is a proud Bundjalung woman from the North Coast of NSW, Australia. She currently lives and works as a teacher and artist on Yuin and Dharawal Countries. Through her art she aims to share her stories, culture and Country in a contemporary way.

She always looks to Country- the land, sky and the waters- and uses these images, stories and memories to paint. The patterns of Country at different times of the day and year influence heavily in her art.

Holly honours the continuing connection Bundjalung, Yuin and Dharawal people have to the land and acknowledges the stories, traditions and living cultures of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the oldest and longest continuing culture on the planet.

ARTWORK MEANING

A Celebration of Jagun-Country

The land, sky, waters, flora and fauna together all form Country. We sing, celebrate and dance about Country. There are no flora, fauna, waters, mountains or stars in the sky that are not interconnected with our culture or kin. It is inherent to our identity and is more than a place. We have a spiritual and cultural connection to Country. Always was, always will be.

PRODUCT CARE

Keep your planner away from direct sunlight. Place in shaded areas, away from direct sunlight, windows, and skylights. Use a slightly dampened cloth to wipe the cover if it gets marked. Please be mindful of the surrounding environment and avoid placing it on rough or dirty surfaces.

DONATIONS

Part proceeds from the sale of our planners will be donated directly to the GO Foundation whose mission is to create a brighter future for Indigenous Australians.

OUR HAPPINESS GUARANTEE

We want nothing but the best for our incredible teaching community. That’s why if you’re not 100% in love with your teacher planner or any items purchased, send them back and we’ll give you a full refund, no questions asked!

Read the full details here.

Please note: We do our absolute best to ensure photos have been taken to represent the actual teacher planner cover, however, these colours may look different in ‘real life’ as opposed to on your electronic screens (AKA your computer/laptop/tabletsSmartphones) due to variations in monitor settings and display quality. We also take great care with all our products, however, due to the manufacturing process, planners may have minor imperfections such as slight scratching and marks.

FAQs

What is a pre-order?

Our Classic Planners + Assessment Journals are expected to begin dispatching from November 30 onwards, with all pre-orders orders anticipated to be sent out by the end of December. Delivery times will vary based on location and order date, and transit times may mean your order arrives later than our dispatch estimations. If there are any delays beyond our dispatch time frames, we will communicate directly with you via email.

Please note: If you're purchasing a gift for Christmas, be aware that we cannot guarantee delivery by the holiday due to high order volumes and potential delays with Australia Post during their peak season. Please keep this in mind when selecting your delivery address as well.

To streamline the process and avoid multiple shipments, we will ship your entire order together once the pre-ordered items are in stock, including non-pre-ordered items in your order. If you require part of your order (non-pre-ordered items) earlier, we will need to cancel your original order and set up two separate orders - additional shipping fees may apply.

Does your Everyday Planner have weekends?

Yes, our Everyday Planner includes weekends. It features a horizontal week-to-page layout with equal space for each day of the week, including Saturday and Sunday. This design ensures that you have consistent space for planning and organising your weekends just as you would for weekdays.

Can the Everyday Planner be used by teachers for their planning needs?

While the Everyday Planner is versatile, it is not specifically designed for teachers. Our Signature and Classic teacher planner range is tailored with educators in mind, incorporating feedback from thousands of teachers, including my own experience as a teacher.

The Everyday Planner is B5 in size and offers equal space for weekends, which may not be sufficient for detailed lesson planning. It also does not include specialised sections such as assessment pages and term overviews that teachers often require. For more targeted features suitable for classroom planning, our Signature and Classic teacher planners would be a better choice.

Will you be restocking planners this year?

Thank you for your interest in our planners. We regret to inform you that we will not be restocking any of our planners this year. This includes any planners that are currently marked as out of stock on our website. We understand that this might be disappointing, and we are genuinely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Perfect!

I have been longing for the Mrs Edgar style pared back to a flexible, smaller, lighter format without the extra features I don't need. I'll be using mine as a secondary teacher planner. The vertical layout suits my approach to weekly - daily planning. I will use the weekend section to categorise my notes of routine tasks and conversations. The To Do is perfect for reminders to keep me agile and responsive, and the calendar section will be used to note a daily highlight. The goal section is great, and the notes pages will allow me to keep track of student assessments with the help of my ruler. I adore the covers, especially the Indigenous one - what a lovely way to model connection with country and all Australians to our kids!
Please consider the reef design next year, and also navy leather for a totally classy and elegant effect. I'm sure this planner will take off, so please remember our male colleagues with an essentials format!
