Letter A
Start your alphabet wall with the superstar of all letters — Letter A is here!
Letter A is one of the most important letters students ever learn, making the short /a/ sound as in "apple" — a sound that appears everywhere in early reading and writing. This beautifully designed display card helps students build a strong association between the letter A, its sound, and the key word "apple," giving them a solid phonics foundation from day one.
Bright, clear, and classroom-ready, this card is the perfect anchor for your alphabet display or phonics wall. Letter A is the natural starting point — make it a memorable one!
Why teachers love it:
- Short vowel focus — draws attention to the /a/ sound in "apple," a critical early phonics skill
- Clear letter formation — upper and lower case letters are prominently displayed to support handwriting development
- Bright key word visual — "apple" provides a concrete, memorable reference students can call on during reading and writing
- Classroom display-ready — looks beautiful on your alphabet wall and stands out at a glance
