Times tables revision your students will actually ask to finish — and a festive display at the end of it!

This Christmas Tree Multiplication Craftivity turns times tables practice into a hands-on craft. Every tree holds ten multiplication facts, one in each bauble circle, with the table number on the star. Students work out an answer, write it on a loose bauble, cut it out and glue the top band over the matching sum — so the bauble lifts to reveal the fact underneath. It's real revision rather than lots of cutting for little learning, and a classroom of finished trees makes a stunning December display.

Why teachers love it:

  • Every answer is worked out, not guessed — the baubles are blank, so students have to produce the answer instead of matching by elimination
  • Differentiate without extra prep — eleven single-table trees plus three mixed revision trees, so every student in the room can be on the right sheet
  • Answer keys for all fourteen sheets — hold a key beside a finished display and mark straight down the tree
  • One bauble sheet serves every tree — thirty baubles is exactly three trees' worth, so one page covers three sheets
  • Curriculum aligned — the mixed trees are built to AC9M3A03 (Year 3 facts for 3, 4, 5 and 10) and AC9M4A02 (Year 4 facts to 10 × 10)
  • Beautiful display piece — the finished trees carry the child's own handwriting, which makes the wall theirs

Perfect for:

  • Times tables revision through Term 4
  • Year 2, Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5 classrooms
  • Maths rotations, small groups and fast finishers
  • The last weeks of term, when engagement is everything
  • Christmas classroom displays

What's included:
29 printable pages:

  • 11 single-table trees — the 2s through to the 12s, ten facts on every sheet
  • 3 mixed revision trees — a 2s, 5s and 10s sheet, a Year 3 sheet (3s, 4s, 5s and 10s) and a Year 4 sheet reaching 10 × 10
  • 1 bauble sheet — thirty blank baubles with hanger caps and a fold line, enough for three trees
  • 14 answer keys — one for every tree sheet, on the same template for easy marking

Tis the season for times tables — and this is the one your class will want to finish.

HOW TO USE IT IN YOUR CLASSROOM
