Make addition fact practice more engaging with Addition Bingo, a quick whole-class game designed for Years 1–2.

Students each receive a different bingo board while the teacher calls out addition equations. Students solve each fact, find the matching answer on their board and cover it. First to complete the agreed pattern wins.

What’s included:

  • 24 different bingo boards, no two the same
  • 24 addition calling cards with teacher answers included
  • How to Play instructions
  • Terms of Use page
  • Printable PDF format

Learning focus:

  • addition facts to 20
  • mental computation
  • fact fluency
  • listening and number recognition

How to play

Print and cut the calling cards, then give each student a bingo board. Call the addition equation without giving the answer. Students solve the equation and cover the matching number on their board.

Boards are a larger 3 × 3 grid with nine big numbers, chosen to suit younger students. Cover all nine to win, or play for three in a row for a quicker round. The included guide estimates around 15–20 minutes for a full game.
