Fill your bucket and your classroom with kindness — a craftivity that students will be proud to display.

The Bucket Filler Craftivity brings the beloved bucket filling concept to life in a hands-on, creative project that students absolutely love. Based on the idea that we each carry an invisible bucket filled by kindness, students create their own bucket and fill it with written reflections on how they can be a bucket filler for others.

It's equal parts craft and character education — and the finished products make a stunning classroom display about the power of kindness.

Why teachers love it:

  • Meaningful and memorable — students connect emotionally to the bucket filling concept
  • Doubles as a display — beautiful finished pieces that celebrate your class values
  • Great for SEL — builds social-emotional vocabulary around kindness, empathy and community
  • Engaging for all levels — creative enough for everyone to enjoy

Perfect for:

  • Back-to-school and classroom community building
  • Social-emotional learning units
  • Anti-bullying and kindness weeks
  • Class meetings and circle time discussions
  • Reading the book "Have You Filled a Bucket Today?"

What's included:
A printable bucket filler craftivity template with writing prompts — students create their own decorated bucket and fill it with kind thoughts and reflections.

Help your students understand that kindness is contagious — and it starts with them.
