COVER ARTWORK by Holly Sanders.
-Water is life-
Water is of the upmost importance culturally spiritually and physically for many First Nations people. Saltwater and freshwater sustains us in every way, such as our spiritual relationships, language, song lines, Dreamings, sacred places, customary use and the plants and animals associated with water.
Thousands of years of memories and traditions are held in or near water places. Many Dreamings and sacred places are tied to the ocean and our freshwater rivers, waterways and waterholes. Many cultural places such as men’s and women’s business places, like sacred birthing areas are held near water. First Nations people have a deep responsibility to care and look after water, making sure it is healthy. First Nations people have a complex knowledge base that enabled our survival on one of the driest continents. Water is sacred and we have the knowledge of how it has carefully been managed for thousands of years. We have custodial responsibilities to protect cultural flows in water for our future jarjums and generations.

Please note: We do our absolute best to ensure photos have been taken to represent the actual teacher planner cover, however, these colours may look different in ‘real life’ as opposed to on your electronic screens (AKA your computer/laptop/tabletsSmartphones) due to variations in monitor settings and display quality. We also take great care with all our products, however, due to the manufacturing process, planners may have minor imperfections such as slight scratching and marks.
Stickers shown in pocket are for demonstration purposes only.
